Daniel Oar
Daniel Oar is the founder of Wine Masters Cruises and owner of Expedia Cruises of South Lake Washington, combining a passion for luxury travel, wine, and relationship-driven experiences to create unforgettable hosted journeys for wine lovers across the Pacific Northwest.
Daniel opened his Expedia Cruises franchise in Renton in 2021 with a vision of building one of the region’s premier cruise-focused travel agencies. In 2022, he launched Wine Masters Cruises to specialize in exclusive wine cruises and immersive wine-focused tours in partnership with celebrated wineries throughout Washington, later expanding into Oregon in 2025.
The journey began with humble beginnings and a shared passion for wine and travel. The very first Wine Masters Cruises voyage sailed to Alaska in August 2023, hosted by Joe Miglino of Martedi Winery. What started as a single hosted sailing quickly grew into a collection of exclusive wine experiences bringing together winery owners, winemakers, and guests who share a love for discovery, culture, and exceptional wines.
Today, Wine Masters Cruises continues to expand with the support of Brett Brown, whose leadership and guest-focused approach help deliver memorable experiences both onboard and ashore. Together, Daniel and the Wine Masters Cruises team are dedicated to creating curated luxury journeys that connect travelers with world-class destinations, fine wines, and the people behind them.
Brett Brown
Brett Brown serves as Lead Travel Agent and Sales Manager for Wine Masters Cruises, where he plays a key role in creating exceptional hosted wine cruise and tour experiences for winery partners and guests alike.
Since joining Wine Masters Cruises in 2023, Brett has built strong relationships with local wineries, cruise line partners, and customers through a highly personalized and customer-centric approach to group travel management. His dedication to service and attention to detail help ensure every hosted journey delivers a seamless and memorable experience from beginning to end.
Brett works closely with winery partners throughout every stage of the process — from establishing trust and planning the onboard guest experience to coordinating bookings, managing group logistics, and providing full-service travel support for guests before, during, and after their journey. His close relationships with cruise line partners and extensive experience managing hosted groups allow him to consistently deliver a high level of service and professionalism.
An experienced global traveler, Brett brings firsthand destination knowledge and travel expertise from journeys throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, Alaska, the Caribbean, and South America. He has successfully led wine groups aboard river cruises, luxury yachts, and ocean cruise ships, helping guests discover the world through unforgettable wine-focused experiences.
